Create a Release Test Plan(s) Status Summary Report

description

A Release Test Plan(s) Status Summary Report that showed the status of multiple selected Test Plans in a Team Project would also be a useful TFS/MTM report.

If you create a Test Plan per Iteration/Sprint there is not a default report available to show you the status of all the Test Plans that have been executed in a given Team Project/Release.

I'm not sure I understand.

If I have a Test Plan per Sprint/Iteration, doesn't it imply that when the Sprint Iteration ends that testing is done for that Sprint/Iteration? When I go to the next Sprint/Iteration I create a new Test Plan that may contain some of the same test cases as the last Test Plan but has all of its statistics reset.

Can you give a scenario where this kind of report would be helpful? It would go a long way toward helping us understand what could be built.

Thanks,

If your overall release consists of multiple Sprint Test Plans because you have multiple feature teams it would be useful to have a single report showing the status of all the plans.
